Job Description:

Position Summary

  • Perform as a Senior Manager within the Marketing Technology organization supporting the management and execution of technology initiatives

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze requirements, design and develop software applications.

  • Comprehend high level business requirements, translate those requirements into technical requirements and specifications, and then assign and facilitate the delivery and development of those components in a development build cycle.

  • Conduct code reviews of completed technical artifacts. Represent and lead the development team’s interaction and plans during support of testing activities.

  • Excellent at problem solving and troubleshooting.

  • Participate in unit, integration, and system test procedures. Document final program and develop user instructions, software/hardware requirements, program input / outputs and execution / installation steps.

  • Provide ongoing system support by maintaining and enhancing existing software applications. Handle multiple tasks and work on multiple projects.

  • Candidate must ensure that tasks are being completed in timely manner with limited direction.

  • Defines and promotes development standards and mentors resources with less experience.

  • Interact with technology management and other teams across organization.

  • Provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration across multiple client engagements from definition phase through implementation.

  • Applies significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our clients.

  • Easily recognizes system deficiencies and implements effective solutions.

  • Suggests alternative technical solutions to meet client requirements more efficiently, and/or with greater reusability, and / or longer life.

  • Defines, communicates and enforces coding standards.

  • Manages multiple technical teams within budget and project schedule.

  • Understands the benefits of the various programming languages and accurately suggests the use of the appropriate technology for the application.

  • Possesses significant knowledge of Object Oriented concepts and ensures they are consistently and appropriately applied in client engagements.

  • Serves as key participant in team and client meetings.

  • Raises our visibility through involvement in local industry organizations.

  • Confronts issues opening and quickly.

  • Tactfully communicates sensitive information.

  • Challenges others to develop as leaders while clarifying roles and responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10 years of Team leadership experience with 5 years of Management experience desired

  • Strong ability to lead a team and drive to results

  • Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Must possess analytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills

  • Strong project financial management skills

  • Guides project delivery through all phases, ensuring processes are followed, required documents are completed, and required tracking systems are kept updated

  • Develops and manages to risk vs reward

  • Identifies, assigns, tracks, escalates, and resolves issues

  • Experience in tracking the tasks and progress of a major project delivery, escalating and resolving issues, planning for and managing resources and funding

  • Holds resources(direct reports) accountable for deliverables on time and budget

  • Ability to provide project status on deliverables or escalate issues to senior leaders and executives

  • Ability to work with partner teams across the organization to ensure successful delivery of project initiatives.

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of Big Data Tech (Hadoop, Kafka, etc.) would be a big plus

  • Basics in financial markets & banking operations

  • Agile driven development

Enterprise Job Description

Responsible for team level contributions to overall application development efforts within portfolio application(s); providing technical direction and oversight on creation of applications from E2E (end to end) perspective. Ensuring systems design, business requirements, and architecture of solution is well understood by involved parties and responsible for overall delivery of software products. May or may not manage employees. Manages applications/ development projects, or complex initiatives of an area of the development function. Typically requires 7-10 years of applicable experience.
