Directly, and through our subsidiaries, Omnicare provides a broad array of pharmacy-related services to long term care facilities and to other customers in the healthcare environment. While senior care has long been an Omnicare specialty, we also serve other targeted populations.

As a Billing Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the identification, monitoring, and actuate distribution of correspondence to various departments.

In this role, you will:

•Print bills and create mailing labels for the bills each month for distribution.

•Maintain files and billing folders to be distributed during billing time and have them sent to storage.

•Greet all visitors, answer and direct all inbound calls; cover the front desk when necessary.

•Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail and packages; prepare and send outgoing mail and packages.

•Monitor and maintain office supply inventory and fulfillment of requests.

•Perform miscellaneous duties to support the office or departments, participate in various projects and/or meeting as designated by management.

•Work and partner with our internal and external departments to resolve issues.

•Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA.

•Demonstrate Omnicare's established Core Values.

•Complies with departmental policies as it relates to safety, attendance and dress code.

•Overtime, holidays and weekends may be required and/or expected.

•Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

1+ year using MS office in a professional or academic setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • 0-1 years of professional experience, including administrative, retail, or customer service roles

  • 1-3 years in a clerical, data entry, administrative, or other office role highly preferred

  • Experience working in a fast paced and high volume setting with strict turnaround timelines

  • Healthcare industry knowledge helpful Experience 1-3 years of prior office administrative experience

  • Effective multitasking skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment

  • Effective verbal and written communication as well as listening skills

  • Intermediate to strong computer and typing skills


High School Diploma or GED required
