Description: The primary job responsibility will be to support execution of Hellfire Missile Depot sustainment and logistics support and management activities. Activities include a variety of foundational tasks including:
• Performance of logistics analyses and logistics management support activities
• Support of test and support equipment development activities
• Support of system maintenance procedure and training product creation and review
• Assisting in the development/analysis of LRU/SRU engineering and logistics support requirements
Candidate will also be involved in establishing process improvements, streamlining production operations, supply chain operations and future repair capabilities. Candidate will optimize current and recommend future test equipment and tooling to generate additional depot capabilities and grow customer value. Candidate will also be required to unpack, test, troubleshoot/repair, remark, paint, palletize, and transport HELLFIRE tactical missiles. Maintenance of HELLFIRE missile and containers may also be required. Duties include lifting (35 lbs.), use of special tooling to include pneumatic tools, torque wrenches, paint sprayers, respirators, and forklifts. Assignment requires the ability to perform work in accordance with technical manuals, site-specific work instructions, and engineering drawings.
Candidate must be able to work in a team environment and support 1st or 2nd shift requirements as dictated by workload priorities.
Program specific requirements: The candidate will be required to work at the Hellfire Missile Depot, a GOCO facility, in Anniston, Alabama. The candidate must be effective at building collaborative relationships in order to execute contract requirements. The ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance is required. Candidate must be able to satisfy requirements of respirator and explosives handler medical evaluation requirements.
Possess a knowledge of department of defense logistics, military product life cycle and support concepts.
Knowledgeable in logistics management and analysis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs.
Must be a US Citizen and able obtain a Secret Clearance.
Experience working in Asset Management System (AMS) with the ability to create templates and apply template restrictions.
Experience in leading and completing Government and company owned inventory that comply with company procedures and FAR clauses.
Experience working in a depot environment with multiple customer and contractual requirements.
Experience working a LM depot is preferred.
