The Senior Director, Business Advisory, is a key member of the Consumer Operations Planning & Services organization, advising on Brand, Marketing, Sales, Revenue Strategy, Loyalty, Partnerships and Emerging Business strategies. The Senior Director will have a particular focus on accelerating performance against Consumer Operations Scorecard KPIs through key initiatives requiring cross cutting discipline connection. The Senior Director will provide advisory services to the Consumer Operations, Technology, and Emerging Businesses organization on complex platforms and projects, while focusing on the strategic priorities for Marriott International.
Success in this role requires strong critical thinking skills, ability to manage complex stakeholder interactions, a proven ability to manage multiple projects at the same time, as well as a willingness to be tested on difficult projects and initiatives. Functions as an advisor, thought partner, and project leader on major Consumer Operations initiatives and programs such as projects to drive customer loyalty and strengthen Marriott’s partnerships and emerging businesses.
Education and Experience
10+ years’ experience in strategy development, brand management, marketing strategy or product management
4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related major OR
12+ years of relevant professional experience in related function, demonstrating progressive career growth and pattern of exceptional performance
Experience managing and defining transformational strategies for business units.
Demonstrated ability to deliver results under difficult conditions, particularly when faced with complexity and ambiguity
MBA or equivalent preferred
Lodging / hospitality industry experience is preferred
