Responsible for leading the development and implementation of ongoing continuous value improvement (CVI) including assessments, reports, implementation plans, leveraging Anthem resources and recommendations for operational improvements for FGS lines of business.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Leads the delivery ofexcellence in business processes for FGS, creates and leads a CVI program basedon solid performance of key performance indicators to drive efficiency andeffectiveness across operational programs.

  • Monitors operational metrics,project plans, implementation outcomes and metrics.

  • Works with FGS Senior Teamon improvement opportunities.

  • Develops and helps to implement operationalimprovement actions when metrics are not meeting goals.

  • Developoperational scorecards and service level agreements.

  • Hires, trains,coaches, counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field; 8 years of management experience with significant large-scale project management, strategic planning and/or consulting in the health care industry; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Masters degree preferred. Excellent leadership, financial, and analytical skills required. Strategic thinker with broad & deep understanding of the health care industry required. Must be able to travel.
