Client Services Consultant Sr.Job Description

The Senior Client Services Consultant provides consultative analysis and support to Prime’s Government Programs Client Engagement team and develops strategies to effectively communicate new initiatives, status on projects, and status of issues to clients.


  • Consult with Account Directors to design, deliver, and monitor reporting for clients; coordinate reporting requests from external clients

  • Manage issues through use of Prime’s IMT tool; enters issues, tracks issues, and documents resolution for clients to include negotiating satisfactory resolution to client escalated service issues, member disruptions, and compliance issues

  • Coordinate and distribute inventory of client reports and communications by client or group of clients

  • Manage client quarterly operational review meeting calendar, coordinate the content in partnership with the Account Directors or Regional Account Directors

  • Support, implement, and manage Client Engagement strategic initiatives and projects, including managing schedule for completion of client specific strategic plans and other key client touch points, coordinating with other areas of the business and coordinating workflow items such as contract renewals, new product offerings, etc. to normalize to a standard

  • Advise on communications and serve as primary interface with Commercial Client Services, Corporate Communications, and Commercial Communications on client communications ensuring consistency of message

  • Collaborate with Account Directors in establishing relationship maps for each client with strategic business plan template ownership

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required

  • 5 years of Client Service experience in healthcare or insurance

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

  • Understanding of Medicare Part D and Medicaid regulations

  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous PBM/health care experience

  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
