In this role you will be responsible for creating and continuously improving production processes resulting in reduced scrap, shorter lead-times, lower cost to manufacture, improved yield and production schedule performance. As a process owner, you will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of manufacturing work instructions and production tooling.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Utilize lean manufacturing principles for removing non-value added activities within the manufacturing process

  • Implement new models into production

  • Participate in ACE events to improve production line performance

  • May also include RRCA and other data analysis for identification of project opportunities.

  • Projects may include COPQ reduction, mistake proofing, EHS risk reduction, prevention of escapes to customers.

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years experience in a high mix production environment supporting a regulated industry.

  • Product mix should include electro-mechanical assemblies fabricated through potting, brazing, and welding processes.

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering is preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Manufacturing Engineering completed by May 2019 required.
