The position of Product Manager – References Labs serves our Toxicology business unit principally located in our Pomona, California office. The Product Manager will identify, manage and deliver global customer-centric products to market and perform best practice life cycle management and profitability for the product line. This role contributes to the successful delivery and support of products from conception to end of life.
This position will be responsible for development of product definition, positioning, pricing and product lifecycle management to include market sensing, leading the product management function in new product development teams, pricing, customer communications, support, and revenue forecasts.
The Product Manager will also lead new product development process from concept through commercialization, including voice of customer research, definition of customer and product requirements and value proposition, formulating and communicating global launch plans including commercialization strategy, public presentations, competitive analysis, forecasting, positioning and training of internal groups, service, support and sales.

Act as a bridge betweenteams R&D, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Sales andApplications translating business and technical requirements
Manage supply, demand,revenue, and pricing for product portfolio; update and present forecastsregularly to management, R&D and manufacturing teams
Research and be aresource for information such as market changes, products offered by thecompetition, benefits of Immunalysis products and their superior value toconsumers
Provide product trainingto sales and applications for existing and new products
Analyze reports toidentify opportunities, trends and potential threats with the purpose ofmaximizing value from all Immunalysis products
Understand the assaydevelopment, design, manufacturing and Quality Control process and finalapplication at customer locations and support and represent customerrequirements during throughout the process
Communicate withcustomers and gather feedback to ensure Immunalysis products are accurate, reliable,relevant, and valuable
Serve as the customeradvocate interacting w/ functional partners including R&D, Manufacturing,Quality and Regulatory Assurance, Applications, Sales and Finance
Partner closely withSales and Applications to ensure system synergies and optimal customerexperiences
Where standard productmanagement practices may not be warranted, be flexible and adapt industryknowledge to monitor, track and control efforts in ways that are practical
Identify, implement andoversee process improvements, standards and procedures to product management toensure the highest quality end product is delivered to customers
Assist and mentor otherteam members in following policies and procedures within the project managementarea
Ensure processes areaare followed in accordance to all regulations (i.e. SOX, FDA/Quality, generalcontrols)
Apply good judgment toalign project actions against company strategy
Apply disciplined,fact-based judgment to process improvement recommendations
Consistently demonstratestructured thinking while conducting strategic assessments of processimprovements for the business
This position will alsobe required to work across time zones as needed to support project deploymentschedules
Minimal travel will berequired for this position
MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of productmanagement with a proven track record
BA/BS required orequivalent work experience
Able to work across timezones as needed to support project deployment schedules
Able to travel minimally
Familiar with MedicalDevices, the Toxicology Industry and/or medical products manufacturingenvironment(s)
How to determine backlogtracking, burndown metrics, velocity, task definition, vertical slicing,acceptance criteria, definition of ready, definition of done
Deep understanding ofProgram and Portfolio Management
Working knowledge ofTask Management/Issue Tracking software (such as JIRA, TFS, Rally), Windowsoperating systems, and Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Work,Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.
Advanced financialacumen, and project planning skills
Ability to set and meettight deadlines and function well under pressure
Ability to work in adynamic and fast paced environment
Strong situationalawareness, coupled with facilitation, team building, problem solving, andconflict resolution skills is required
