This role resides within Enterprise Capital Management. The position involves the calculation, reporting and analysis of economic and regulatory capital and risk-weighted assets (RWA) for wholesale exposures, which consists of $0.7T in funded balances spanning multiple products and lines of businesses. The team member will ensure calculations appropriately handle the positions in the portfolio including newtransactions/products;identifyalternatives/assumptionswithin the Basel rules that can tangibly improve our capital position; work with support partners to supervise the implementation of models and enhancements to calculations; design and produce reports of capital and RWA; assist in the bank’s explanation of capital and RWA to the lines of business and senior management; assist in wholesale capital variance commentary on various regulatory reports, and perform other analyses, such as measuring the effect of changes to rules or to the portfolio.  

Enterprise Role Overview

Responsible for maintaining a highly visible capital model for the company that follows regulatory regulations. This position is also responsible for enhancing analytic processes or systems approaches. Creates documentation for all activities and works with Technology staff in design of any system to run models developed. Incumbents possess excellentquantitative/analyticskills and a broad knowledge of financial markets and products.

Required Skills and Experience:

Finance or Quantitative related Undergraduate with 2+ years working in financial services

Analytical ability and problem-solving skills with desire for continual learning including impact of potential new or changing regulations

Strong attention to detail with ability to simplify the complex and drive key initiatives

Ability to work collaboratively with teams and interface credibly across various LOBs and support partners at both junior and senior levels

Experience with SQL or other programming language
