Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed design work, assembly layout, configuration control, creating drawings and model based definition using CATIA V5 within Enovia.

  • Release engineering, provide technical support and other related responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • ICD & configuration management experience

  • CATIA V5 and ENOVIA experience

  • Knowledge of UTAS drawing release process

  • Good communication skills are necessary as the person will frequently need to interact with internal customers, as well as our manufacturing facilities

  • General integration knowledge: podding, paint & markings, step and gap requirements, etc.

  • Ability to maintain top level drawings and drawing trees

  • Support change board as required

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have Design experience of lightweight aircraft structure using CATIA V5.

  • Good communication skills.

  • 6+ years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience designing composite structures and knowledge of nacelle structures preferred.

  • Experience with CATIA CPD is a benefit.

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering required.
