WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
In your role as a National Account Executive at Kashi, you will be part of our success by:
Making strategic decisions, considering immediate and long term implications, benefits and costs, and risks associated with alternatives, to create, implement and monitor the success of a business plan
Delivering budgeted volume and profit by developing business relationships to drive business results
Developing and implementing trade/consumer programs
Delivering market share / category growth
Aligning strategies and developing targets to meet company goals
WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?
As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Sales, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:
High School Diploma / GED
Substantial industry or sales experience including: Manufacturer Sales and/or Marketing, Syndicated Data Supplier, Broker or Retail Grocery
Strong communication and organizational skills
Strong financial acumen necessary to establish and manage gross sales goals and promotional budgets
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Understanding of brand and shopper marketing initiatives
Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) software applications
CPG sales experience
Previous experience working with syndicated data sources
Understanding of Profit and Loss (P&L) Drivers
WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?
The optimal location of residency would be in the Grand Rapids, MI, San Antonio, TX, Minneapolis, MN or San Diego, CA metro areas. There is flexibility for candidates residing in the Midwest / Western US near a major airport location.
This role requires up to 35% US based overnight travel but may vary depending on location of residency.
