UnitedHealth Group Billing Representative - Remote in Dallas, Texas

This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (6:00am - 5:00pm CST). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Interact with customers to gather support data to ensure invoice accuracy and also work through specific billing discrepancies

  • Provide input to policies, systems, methods and procedures for the effective management and control of the premium billing function

  • Educate customers regarding the availability of receiving invoices and remitting payments through online applications

  • Monitor outstanding balances and take appropriate actions to ensure clients pay as billed

  • Manage the preparation of invoices and complete reconciliation of billing with accounts receivables

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)

  • 1+ years of experience in production environment with daily quotas and metrics

  • Microsoft Word (ability to create, edit, copy, send and save documents)

  • Microsoft Excel (ability to create, edit, copy, send and save spreadsheet)

  • Microsoft Outlook (ability to use email and calendaring functions)

  • Microsoft PowerPoint (ability to create presentations)

  • Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 6:00am - 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of any of the following:

  • COSMOS

  • UNET/CDEB

  • AR:M

  • PeopleSoft Financials

  • BRMS

  • 1+ years of Billing Experience

  • Macro knowledge

Telecommuting Requirements:

  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy

  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)

  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $15.00 - $25.19. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $15.77 - $27.79.
