Function: Supply Management / Logistics

Title: OFP Supply Management Specialist - 81712

Onsite/Remote: Partial Remote Position

This position is eligible for a partial telework schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.

Your Responsibilities

As a OFP Supply Management Specialist for John Deere Davenport Works located in Davenport, IA, you will:

  • Proactively manage parts to ensure the optimal amount of inventory held to support production and schedule variations in Construction & Forestry's build- to- order environment throughout the product life cycle.

  • Monitor daily critical and delinquent parts reports and address urgent issues immediately to ensure quality parts are available to meet production needs.

  • Maintain supplier relationships and drive continuous improvement in terms of delivery, cost, quality and business performance.

    Visa sponsorship is NOT available for this position.

  • Experience in a fast- paced environment with high- paced negotiations

  • Experience with prioritizing multiple tasks/projects with ability to shift priorities as needed in a rapid production environment

  • Experience analyzing data and solving problems to achieve desired results

Education

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
