This position is for a Summer Internship within Pratt & Whitney’s V2500 Program Office. The V2500 Engine Program is managed by International Aero Engines (IAE), an international consortium comprised of Pratt & Whitney, MTU Aero Engines (Germany), and Japanese Aero Engine Corporation.

Pratt & Whitney is a 49.5% equity stakeholder and oversees the general management with responsibility for all aspects associated with supporting over 6,500 engines operating in service with over 150 global customers generating over $3B in aftermarket revenue annually. Summer intern will support program management team in developing key processes to support the fleet. Candidate will also support execution of data analytics projects to identify fleet improvement opportunities. This is an excellent development opportunity to learn about the V2500 program office, the commercial engine business, and how to identify and develop processes that support the flying fleet.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the program model manager in technical investigations, engineering task management, and budget management

  • Providing support to the component supplier management team, developing tools and reports for tracking supplier performance, and resolving customer issues

  • Researching best practices to develop Program Management Instructions (PMIs) for key program functions

Qualification: The V2500 Program Office is looking for a self-starter that has strong analytical, data management, communication, and interpersonal skills. The candidate must be comfortable working with MS Office and proficiency with databases is a plus. Must be a U.S. Person.

Education: Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or business. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
