Description: This position is a Logistics Engineer for the F-35 Aircraft Sustainment Supply team. Job Candidate will use strong provisioning skills as well as the associated analytical and engineering configuration management skills. Candidate will work independently in a Military based Performance Based Logistics (PBL) / Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) acquisition environment. The candidate will perform provisioning analyses activities including assessment of Parts Precedence (PP) J0820s and QEC using various software tools to influence new designs and modifications. In addition , the candidate will coordinate and perform supportability analyses of flight vehicle, and associated support equipment design (accessibility, functionality, commonality, interchangeability), Air Vehicle Design, and Training Devices. The candidate will apply systems engineering and integration processes for supportability across elements, coordinates logistics support analysis with elements.
The Job candidate will work using MIL-STD-1388-1A/2B or DEF-STAN 00-60, MIL-HDBK-502, and MIL-PRF-49506 in addition to system acquisitions, specifically the DoD 5000 series specifications requirements. The candidate will work with Joint Services Application of Source, Maintenance, and Recoverability Coding (SM&R) and Maintenance Task Codes and their application and relationship to Provisioning analyses. Candidate will work with provisioning development under the construct of the Mil-Std-1388-2B / DEF-STAN 00-60 a validated LSAR database. Candidate will work with Contractor Logistics Support and Performance Based Logistics (PBL) programs and maintain provisioning data/documentation.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and a Secret clearance to be considered.

* Aircraft, Support Equipment, Training Device, or Heavy Equipment maintenance experience
* Maintenance Task Analysis
* Strong Microsoft Access knowledge.
*Candidate should have an understanding of US and Foreign Military applications of Integrated Logistics Support. This includes knowledge of concepts, requirements and execution of Reliability Maintainability Analysis, Maintenance Task Analysis, Level or Repair Analysis, Provisioning Analysis and techniques, Spares Modeling, Training Analysis, Support Equipment Analysis, Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportability Analysis, Facilities Analysis, and Technical Publications Development and documentation. Specific understanding of the interrelationships and dependencies of these functional analysis activities is highly desired.
Understanding or experience in support requirements definition, testing, evaluation, integration, and implementation of Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) / Government-Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) / internally developed Information Technology Tools and Software supporting Logistics Supportability Analysis activities is also desirable. Advanced to expert MS Office Suite skills with a strong focus on MS Access capabilities is also desired. Strong verbal and written communication skills a must. The ideal candidate will understand engineering drawings and parts relationships. Must have strong knowledge of aircraft and non-aircraft support. Knowledge of F-35 and F-22 provisioning process is a plus. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, spreadsheets and databases.
