This position reports to the Sr. Manager of Specialty Engineering, (Electromagnetics Effects Engineering, Reliability and Maintainability Engineering). The selected candidate will manage the activities of the Reliability and Maintainability Business and Field Operations Team

-Provide required R&M Engineering procedures and guidance documents for the product teams.

-Ensure EVMS functions are aligned with program guidance and ensure proper functional organization measures are in place.

-Ensure the establishment and management of R&M functional organization development and line of business metrics.

-Establish and negotiate program SOWs (CSOW and SSOW) development and define CDRLs/SDRLs of development/sustainment contracts.

-Lead delivery of contractual deliverables to customer for development and sustainment contracts.

-Assist suppliers/functional organizations with understanding of design/sustainment R&M Requirements.

-Lead supplier reporting and test failure review results input to FRACAS.

-Lead business management activities as required and directed by leadership.

-Review product team designs to maximize system and air vehicle performance.

-Manage Key Performance Parameters (KPPs) and develop ground rules, assumptions, and calculation methodologies for KPPs and performance metrics.

-Lead root cause investigations and development of corrective action plans.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

A level 5 employee Typically has 14 - 20 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:

-Must have Project Management and Team Leadership experience

-Must be familiar with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) fundamentals

-Must have experience with air vehicle Reliability and/or Maintainability Engineering

Desired Skills:

-Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aeronautics Engineering degree, or related Engineering degree

-Experience with Reliability Centered Maintenance Analysis and Level of Repair tools

-Experience effectively managing the balance between the maintainability and logistical program requirements and the operational realities

-Experience building requirement closure documentation and providing technically sound arguments to gain concurrence with government customers

-Experience briefing internal and customer leadership, including preparing conclusions and forecasts based on data summaries
