Job Summary

The Manager, Marketing Analytics will lead analytics for U.S. brand marketing campaigns (T.J.Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, Homesense, and Sierra) to measure, validate, and optimize the ROI across all critical elements of the marketing mix. The manager will be responsible for analyzing, synthesizing and communicating learnings clearly to business partners, providing strategic guidance that shapes current & future marketing campaigns. The successful candidate should demonstrate strong analytics, business acumen, and communication skills. He/she will work cross-functionally with a wide variety of stakeholders, including consumer insights brand leads, brand/digital/media partners, and external creative/media agencies. The manager will also have responsibility to manage the relationships with our outside analytics agency partners.

Major Area of Responsibility

  • Manage analytics and insightsrelated to all aspects ofTJX U.S. brand marketing campaigns with the goal of increasing customer engagement, driving incremental sales and increasing profitability of the marketing programs.

  • Connect the dots across various marketing analytics data sources to determine overall implications. Influence multiple stakeholders at varying levels with insights generated.

  • Manage Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) for all U.S. brands, partnering with brand leads and outside analytics agency.

  • Hire and on-board a new multi-touch attribution vendor for TJX. Lead process for data integration into brand media plans.

  • Establish and refine our best practices forthe appropriate use of different analytics methodologies, interpretation of results, and delivery of value to the business.

  • Work with other members of the Consumer Insights & Analytics team to merge qualitative and quantitative results to provide a holistic 360 degree view of the customer.

  • Help mentor and develop others on the consumer insights and analytics team.

  • Manager vendor relationship.

  • Influence TJX North American brand marketing & media/digital partners.


  • Bachelor’s degree; math/statistics preferred.Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing analytics.

  • Background analyzing marketing campaigns and measuring customer performance using business intelligence tools.

  • Experience in generating insight from marketing mix modeling and/or multi-touch attribution modeling.

  • Adept at presenting complex concepts in an easy to understand and actionable way.

  • High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office products

  • Attention to details and able to grasp the big picture.
