JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT

We seek a Cyber Security Program Implementation Advisor who as an authority, will design, develop, implement and troubleshoot various information system and cybersecurity software. In this role, you will independently develop, test and validate solutions to remediate exploitable conditions on devices such as web servers, mail servers, routers, firewalls and intrusion detection systems.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Ensure compliance with critical or enterprise risk and security or regulatory policies, standards, procedures and guidelines.

  • Identify and assess risk and security threats with high business impact, taking appropriate action.

  • Advise on the design of risk and security solutions, processes, or policies requiring a thorough understanding of risk and security practices and procedures.

  • Consult and advise on high complexity risk and security matters.

  • Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.

  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of six years of I/T program implementation experience

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of five years of experience in security, privacy or financial compliance related initiatives; or equivalent control implementation projects, software development projects or IT Infrastructure projects
