Textron Systems Corporationis searching for a Principal IT Security Architect based in Hunt Valley, MD to support all Systems locations.
The Principal Cyber Security Analyst must be a highly motivated, self-driven team player that can perform in a fast-changing business environment. The candidate should possess a natural enthusiasm for IT Security, diverse in-depth technical experience, business acumen, and strong customer service skills.
The Principal Cyber Analyst is responsible for implementing governance and compliance requirements across the Textron Systems business unit. This includes, but not limited to performing IT risk assessments and mitigation actions, as well as IT security monitoring and analysis tasks in accordance with IT policy and regulatory compliance requirements. Perform other risk management objectives and general operational tasks related to information security. Assist with IT business continuity and disaster recovery program. The candidate must have experience collaborating with all business areas to understand business and IT requirements so that we deliver IT security solutions to support Textron Systems domestic and international business initiatives. Candidate should have strong team-oriented interpersonal skills with the ability to interface effectively with a broad range of people and roles. Will also work with the Textron enterprise security team on corporate IT security projects and initiatives that address compliance issues and improve our security posture across the Textron enterprise.
Perform IT security reviews, technical risk assessments, and analysis to ensure compliance with IT security policies and standards
Configure monitoring alerts and reports. Advise and recommend on additional monitoring configurations
Providing technical and analytical guidance as it relates to workstations, servers, storage, networking, telephony, and other IT systems.
Analyze data to identify anomalies and risk mitigation actions
Work closely with other IT team members and end users to provide solutions based on business requirements during all phases of the development and life cycle management process
Develop and disseminate security awareness and education information to end users and system administrators
Perform IT security incident response and remediation activities, to include working with Textron enterprise and other business unit IT security teams, as necessary
Collaborate with Textron Enterprise and Business Unit IT security teams on projects and initiatives that address compliance issues and improve our security posture across the enterprise
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security/Information Assurance or related field
10 years of IT technical, security, or administrative experience with knowledge of information security principles and regulatory compliance
Equivalent combination of education, work experience, technical certifications or training.
Experience with Windows Desktop, Server O/S, and Active Directory security configuration
Experience with Linux/Unix security configuration
Experience with firewalls
Knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and associated network protocols and concepts
Project management with security focus
Experience with contract, supplier, and vender negotiations
Must be able to establish and maintain multiple priorities
Established ability to learn and contribute quickly
Results oriented and fact-based decision making
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively; possesses sound business judgment
Excellent communication (verbal/written) and presentation skills to enable clear delivery of security and risk-related concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
Industry recognized security certifications is a plus (i.e., CISSP, Security , CySA , CASP )
Must be a U.S. Citizen capable of obtaining and maintaining a government security clearance
