Go Face-to-Face with Enterprise Air Surveillance Radar [360 Video] Job Description: The SM-3 FMS Depot Recertification Project Manager will serve as an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead and Cost Account Manager (CAM) who will have coordination and contract execution responsibility for the SM-3 Depot Repair and Recertification activities at the Maizuru, Japan Intermediate Level Maintenance facility (M-ILMF). This position will support the SM-3 Sr. Sustainment Program Manager and functionally report to Whole Life Systems Engineering (WLSE). The FMS Depot Recertification Project Manager will assist a multi-functional Sustainment Team driving depot recertification management and sustainment expertise to manage cost, performance, schedule and risk. The Depot Recertification Project Manager will be responsible for contract execution for multiple aspects of recertification and depot repairs and government furnished material (GFM) management in support of SM-3 missiles in the inventory of Japan and potentially other International customers. The FMS Depot Recertification Project Manager will: provide effective management of the M-ILMF recertification team operations as well as Depot Level Maintenance repairs in a shared, multi-product factory with government furnished property and equipment; ensure compliance with all customer mandatory policies including ITAR restrictions; manage contract expenditures and ensure accurate financial reporting; manage contract schedules and ensure on time deliveries; provide continuous monitoring and improvement of supplier and subcontractor spares and repairs; and establish and maintain business and technical relationships. The candidate will interface between operations, the SM-3 Program Office and the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) customer in dealing with Logistics issues, Raytheon management, as well as other internal matters relating to SM-3 M-ILMF operations. This position requires the ability to travel internationally and domestically. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date. Required Skills: Minimum 10 years of related experience This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Product support and logistics capabilities and strategies to include working with hazardous materials Proven leadership experience managing a diverse team executing logistics, recertification, depot, and sustainment activities Level 5 Raytheon Program Management Certification or ability to achieve certification within one year Desired Skills: The ability to make sound decisions in stressful business situations based upon known variables and past experience Able to function in a fast-paced environment with a premium placed on creativity, innovation, and persuasiveness with employees and customers, both internal and external to the organization Experience working with DoD and International Customers, with ITAR experience Knowledge and prior experience of US Government Contracting processes and procedures Experience working with MDA customers Experience with risk and opportunity management processes Current or previous experience with Missile Systems Knowledge of PRISM, LOKI, CABS and GFM spares A highly motivated “doer” who can work in a dynamic environment yet still be bottom-line driven and cost-conscious The ability to operate independently but still retain the larger company focus Demonstrated ability to effectively influence others to achieve goals in a matrix organization Skilled communicator with excellent presentation and writing skills capable of presenting to program leadership and the customer Expertise in partnering with customers to retain, expand and capture new business and execute to requirements Demonstrated history of meeting and exceeding customer expectations Required Education (including Major): Bachelors’ Degree This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization. This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
