As a Software Engineer for John Deere Financial located in Johnston, IA, you will…
Developing and supporting an API Management platform
Engage as a technical consultant on API best practices to solve business requirements
Collaborate with development teams for on-boarding and implementing the enterprise standard for API Development.
Engaging in all aspects of the software delivery cycle including the design, build, test, deploy, document and support of software applications
What Skills You Need
2+ year experience in the design, development, testing and integration of high complex software solutions
2+ year experience with software test automation techniques (Test Driven Development) and framework (JEST, Mockito, Cypress etc.)
Working experience leveraging DevOps and lean development principles such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery/Deployment using tools like Git, Jenkins etc.
Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum team environment
Skilled in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
What Makes You Stand Out
Experience working with API Management solution like API Gateway, Azure APIM, Apigee etc.
Experience with industry-standard security protocols like OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML etc.
Experience developing REST APIs
Understanding of AWS, Azure cloud platforms and
Understanding of infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
