Job Summary:

Assists with material movement processes.

Responsibilities:

·Loads and unloads company vehicles, supplier vehicles, and commoncarriers.

·Drives company truck as assigned for pick ups and deliveries in greaterSeattle.

·Visually inspects for damage, verifies deliveries, signs and datesBills of Lading.

·Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials received,moved, or shipped and reports inconsistencies with the business computersystem.

·Enters receipts into business computer system, completes paperwork andreports to document receiving activities.

·Manages and assigns bin locations as needed.

·Places items to designated location through use of forklift and otherwarehouse equipment (pallet jacks, dollies, hoists, etc.).

·Delivers supplies, equipment, merchandise, and other items toappropriate departments or personnel.

·Works closely with other materials staff including planners and buyers.

·Assists with OSP processes and corresponding documentation, includingmanaging and coordinating pick-up and delivery of materials.

·Moves material, product, and parts from one location to another withinfacilities and between buildings.Oversee work queue areas, incoming and outgoing.

·Receives work orders from planners; pick parts to jobs for machineshop, assembly areas, staging for kits, and spare part sales orders; open somework orders to 1st step.

·Places parts to stock after internal operations or quality inspection.

·Enters material movements into the business computer system and movesjobs to the next operation.

·Verifies work order finished quantity to actual quantity as specifiedon work orders.

·Prepares items for shipment, packs and labels parts, places in shippingcontainers, completes necessary shipment information.

·Completes paperwork and reports to document shipping activities.

·Perform general clerical duties associated with position.

·Assists with inventory management of packaging materials.

·Assists with maintaining an organized work area.

·Assists with managing waste streams, including cardboard recycling.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual mustbe able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed below arerepresentative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

·High school diploma orgeneral education diploma (GED) desirable.

·Prior material handlingexperience a plus.

·Prior experience in cyclecounting desirable.

·Mathematical skill:add, subtract, multiply and divide in allunits of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

·Language skill:read and comprehend and interpret documents,safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals,short correspondence, and memos.Able toeffectively present information in one on one and small group situations.Able to write routine reports.

·Able to become forkliftcertified within 30 days of hire.

·Able to use computer andlearn business computer system.

·Good interpersonal skillsand able to interact positively and work cooperatively in a team environment.

·Self-motivated and willingto change priorities as needed.

·Willing to participate incontinuous learning opportunities for personal and job development.

·Valid Driver’s License.
