Largo Medical Center is currently accepting applications for a state-licensed Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) on a full-time basis. This will be a midshift opportunity, Monday through Friday, starting at 1130a or 12p daily. Call may also be assigned as needed. The Radiology Technologist consistently demonstrates quality performance of diagnostic imaging procedures. This is inclusive of room preparation, equipment operation, and physician assistance during imaging procedures, film development and image manipulation. Secondary duties may include patient transportation, clerical, receptionist, file room, stocking supplies, procedure room cleanliness, and participating in quality improvement activities. ARRT (R), CRT and BLS are required.

- Completion of a 2-year or Associate Degree
- Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
- Valid ARRT (R)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience
- Customer service abilities including effective listening skills
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 100 lbs.
