Merck Associate Director- MAH FP&A Global Marketing & Supply Chain in Madison, New Jersey

The Associate Director- Animal Health division FP&A Global Marketing & Supply Chain supports two distinct operations within the Company's Animal Health value chain:
Global Supply Chain Organization Business Support:
Participates in Global Supply Chain meetings to facilitate understanding of performance drivers and key operational issues
Participates in projects to drive efficiency in our alignment of financial sales and demand planning volume
Manages the Global Supply Chain Organization’s Budget and Forecasts including global distribution
Provides financial and economic evaluation support to aid appropriate siting decisions
Global Marketing Species Business Support:
Managing the species budget, actual results and forecasts
Coordinating the financial review of the annual 5-Year-Plan
Partnering with the cross-functional species team members to evaluate the overall health of flagship products and optimizing the overall species portfolio
Monitoring and controlling expenses related to life cycle management and product promotion
Education Minimum Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
Required Experience and Skills:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a finance/accounting role.
Financial modeling experience
Ability to build strong client relationships
Ability to collaborate with finance and operations business partners
Clear and concise communication skills
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Advanced degree/certification such as an MBA, CPA, or CFA
Working knowledge of economic principles and discounted cash flow modeling
Experience working in a matrix environment
