Serves as a primary resource for associates contacting HR Shared Services. Provides information regarding Company specific HR policies and/or procedures, while complying with TJX, State, and Federal guidelines. Inquiries are including, but not limited to, benefits, paid time off, navigation and processing assistance in TJX HR systems, and verifications of employment. Develops a working knowledge of HR policies and procedures through processing of data and responding to phone inquiries. All inquiries are to be documented and the majority resolved at first pass to enhance the customer experience. In some cases, issues may be escalated to internal resources, including Specialists, SMEs, COEs and HRBPs for further research and resolution. Expectations are that Reps will be on phones for 100% of their day.
Areas of Responsibility:
Responds to inquiries including, but not limited to, HR policy and procedure, health and wellness benefits, pension, and verification of employment.
Process changes in Oracle including personal information, assignment information, and benefit changes.
Assists Associates and Managers with navigating through Oracle self-service and Talent Management System.
Documents summary details into call tracking system (Service Now) and escalates complex calls for resolution.
Comply with all TJX, State,
City:and Federal regulations including ERISA, Paid Sick Time Policies
Reviews policies, procedures & internal resource materials through work experience to develop knowledge of all subjects handled by HR Shared Services.
Process Verifications of Employment/Income not handled by our third-party vendor.
1-2 years of related experience
Must be comfortable taking calls all day
Strong ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
High School Diploma or equivalent experience, Bachelor Degree preferred
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
Excellent customer service and follow-through skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook)
