The object of this role is to support the client-facing Merrill websites by managing, coding and publishing via a Content Management System. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a CMS in a fast-paced online environment working with a variety of business and technology partners to efficiently complete tasks while mitigating risk.

Responsibilities include:

  • Hand-code in a text editor, using HTML, CSS and basic JavaScript to support business priorities on Merrill websites

  • Use CMS to manage and publish content

  • Ensure content meets ADA, SEO and other requirements as set by bank policy

  • Use Jira Kanban and Scrum board to manage content requests, and follow prescribed workflow to ensure proper business signoff as required

  • Work with business and technology teams to review requirements and identify solutions that are efficient and low-risk

Required Skills:

  • 3 years experience coding and publishing at a public-facing website while leveraging the following skills:

  • HTML (hand-coded) - 2 years

  • CSS (including flex-based layout) - 1 year

  • JavaScript - familiarity

  • 1-year experience working in an Agile project flow

  • 2-years CMS experience

  • Proven ability to communicate with business and technology partners in order to reach goals

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot issues with little oversight

  • Knowledge of ADA principles for online development

  • Knowledge of SEO optimization

Desired Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of finance concepts

  • Copyediting skills

  • SQL

  • Advanced Excel skill
