UnitedHealthcare Medicare & Retirement is part of a family of companies that make UnitedHealth Group one of the leaders across most major segments of the US health care system. Government Programs Digital is part of the UHC Medicare & Retirement Sales team and is responsible for portal development for direct-to-consumer business. We work with portal IT partners, agencies and external vendors to support our online business and marketing strategies. The Digital Content Manager position will work closely with digital team members such as product analysts, project management, marketing, business stakeholders, product management, and technical members of our organization. Additionally, Digital Content Managers are responsible for the overall compliance of the websites with legal, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and other partners, so strong communication skills are required. The ideal candidate will have experience working with digital content management systems, and a robust understanding of marketing websites.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Solution, create, develop, manage, and author content for organization's web presence using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

  • Copy edit and proofread all content

  • Perform UAT and PAT in complex IT environments

  • Coordinate digital projects across departments, agencies, and business partners

  • Provide direction on content strategy to meet business needs and goals

  • Work with legal, UHC compliance, Insurance Solutions regulatory, and CMS to ensure content meets all regulatory requirements

  • Work in an agile, rapid development environment

  • Work with IT partners to resolve user-identified functional and technical issues relating to Adobe AEM

  • Agile Feature and User Story development

  • Serves as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues

  • Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them

  • Solves complex problems and develops innovative solutions

  • May review work performed by others and consult on recommendations for improvement

  • Motivates and inspires other team members

  • Works with agencies to review wireframes, information architecture, comps and provide feedback on how design will work with content

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years in digital marketing/digital experience

  • Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferrred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a compliance-driven organization

  • Basic knowledge of HTML

  • Experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.2 or above in TouchUI

  • Experience with Agile Development methodology

  • Understanding of SEO and multivariate testing

  • Knowledge of Medicare business

  • Demonstrated ability to confidently communicate with and influence business teams, leadership, and IT teams

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple deliverables

  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail

  • Ability to adapt to changing technology

  • Ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity

  • Ability to work in a matrixed organization

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $79,700 to $142,600. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $87,900 to $156,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
