Seeking a strategic-minded marketer to develop and support the Government Programs go-to-market strategies and strategic initiatives. The Marketing Manager would be responsible for developing strategies that align with business goals and objectives, defining the marketing approach, utilizing industry and consumer insights and research in building both a strategic POV. Ability to manage the campaign and/or initiative details from end to end while updating key stakeholders along the way.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 3+ years of marketing experience

  • Full understanding of both online and offline marketing channels and ability to build a comprehensive marketing brief and/or marketing plan

  • Foundational understanding of the digital environment and evolving marketing and data analytics tools used to measure marketing performance and improve consumer engagement and action

  • Able to see the big picture yet comfortable with managing the details

  • Ability and willingness to execute campaign deliverables, including creative development

  • Comfortable working with both creative and media agency partners

  • Excellent computer skills and proficient user of Microsoft Office products, with exceptional knowledge of PowerPoint

  • Strong attention to detail and organization

  • Ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and/or Business preferred with Healthcare experience

  • 3+ years of marketing strategy experience with direct-to-consumer

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate and inspire at all levels, including addressing opportunities, risks, and strategic positioning with the business

  • Proven track record of displaying ownership, urgency and sound decision-making skills

  • Experience planning and managing marketing programs across matrixed organizations

  • Strategic minded and demonstrated ability to work cross functionally and influence others

  • Self-starter, agile, and flexible to meet the changing needs of the Government Programs business

  • Stay curious and maintain awareness of emerging marketplace, industry consumer engagement trends, and marketing activities with direct competitors

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $79,700 to $142,600. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $87,900 to $156,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
