Reporting to the digital marketing manager, the Specialist, Digital Marketing is able to demonstrate their knowledge, skills, and experience in the following areas: digital marketing, website analytics, email marketing best practices, message design, subscriber and data management, inbox delivery, email automation, and tracking and reporting metrics. They know how to build successful digital and email marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions to optimize campaign performance.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with marketing team and vendors to plan and execute digital marketing campaigns

  • Work with the internal team and vendors on growing Level2's owned channel audience and engagement

  • Completes setup and deploys email, app messaging and website changes, as well as monitors/resolves any QA issues

  • Coordinates the creation of digital content and creative assets across digital platforms in partnership with internal and external creative resources

  • Supporting the marketing department's initiatives with the tracking of marketing programs such as promotions, email/app messaging, key campaigns, events, social media, and content marketing

  • Oversees the development and implements processes with all key marketing vendors and internal resources to ensure accuracy, timeliness, efficiency, and effectiveness of marketing programs

  • Leverage the Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools to automate, enable subscriber personalization, and build email marketing campaigns utilizing the various tools within Email Studio and Content Builders

  • Develop campaign documentation and reporting

  • Perform other duties as required and assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field or 7 years digital marketing experience

  • 3 years digital marketing experience

  • 6 months of experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email application and associated tools

  • 6 months experience and/or certification with website analytics tools, such as Google Analytics

  • Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, or how to design or develop custom API Integrations

  • You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location.

  • Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders.In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained.

P referred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification

  • Knowledge of Marketing Cloud Server Side Scripting Language Syntax (AMPscript)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Strong consulting and communication skills and impeccable eye for design and detail

  • Ability to lead and effectively manage technical discussions

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Highly efficient team player with the ability to also work independently

  • Strong initiative to strive for continuous accuracy, quality, and timeliness of information
