This position is responsible for the design, implementation, integration, and operation of world-class marketing technology. This role will drive the process to automate critical tasks, measure, and report on outcomes, and help make better decisions by driving scalability, predictability, and efficiency of Marketing and associated channels and medium.

This position will serve as a collaborative thought partner on the strategy, planning, and execution of marketing platforms. This position should have a healthy balance of operations, technical and analytical experience to design and implement innovative processes and solutions that enable the Marketing team to drive growth and success.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Marketing team to develop a best-in-class operations strategy that supports Marketing’s performance goals

  • Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in content delivery, campaigns, lead management, forecasting, and reporting

  • Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities and associated effectiveness and business impact

  • Analyze/report results of marketing campaigns using applicable industry best practice metrics and develop/manage strategies/plans to optimize future performance

  • Design and implement marketing reporting and attribution, as well as identify opportunities for continuous improvement in campaign execution, measurement, and optimization

  • Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance

  • Monitor the execution of marketing launches/campaigns and associated tactics, including developing and delivering marketing materials for use by applicable audiences (e.g., sales training/education efforts, marketing outreach efforts, marketing events/trade shows)

  • Develop trusting and collaborative relationships with stakeholders to inform our marketing efforts and help improve our understanding of the customer experience

  • Cultivate relationships with applicable internal business partners to drive support, understanding and collaboration on our marketing efforts (e.g., Sales / Client Services, Product Management, Legal/Compliance, Finance, Creative Services, Operations)

  • Build and leverage relationships with other UHC and UHG marketing teams and systems

  • Develop summary of findings at a level appropriate for the key audience and communicate with leaders with authority and intent to influence

  • Embody and promote UHG corporate values and ethics

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Journalism, English, Communications, or relevant work experience

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B or B2C marketing strategy and execution experience within a matrix organization or other relevant work experience

  • 3+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business Process Engineering

  • Demostrated experience in project management. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Experience with CMS, digital, SEO, SEM, social media

  • Experience with Marketing, Sales, Client Services, Product Management, Legal Compliance, Finance, Operations

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $79,700 to $142,600. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $87,900 to $156,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
