Job Description

BAE Systems Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) business area has an exciting opportunity for a talented Program Manager to manage development programs and capture efforts for next generation Electronic Warfare capabilities. Working within the EW Development portfolio, this role is responsible for project management of a range of development opportunities inclusive of hardware development, software development, proposal and capture activity. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational leadership skills, project management experience, proven performance to deliver on customer commitments, and the ability to shape and capture future development efforts.This is anopportunity to join a high performing team committed to delivering groundbreaking capabilities to a highly integrated advanced platform.

Responsibilities:

Foster a culture of innovation, problem solving, performance excellence, and continuous improvement to deliver affordable, effective, and dependable solutions.

Create a high performing work environment and ensure team compliance to ethics, security, and safety objectives and policies.

Cultivate customer relationships to drive high levels of customer satisfaction and confidence.

Develop and execute integrated program and business plans to achieve company goals and objectives.

Ensure integrated Systems development plans are in place and execute to meet program objectives.

Measure and regularly reports on program results to company and customer leadership.

Provide leadership as part of a development program to achieve our customer commitments and growth expectations.

Represents BAE Systems at senior levels across the industry and with government customers.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Successful, proven record leading and managing development programs.

A bachelor s degree in a technical or business-related discipline and a minimum of 10 years of experience leading development programs through all phases of the lifecycle.

Proven success identifying growth areas and developing new business plans aligned with the company s growth objectives. Experience leading estimation and proposal development.

Experience establishing and building customer relationships. Collaborates within and across organizational boundaries, breaking down barriers and finding common ground.

Strong leadership, coaching, mentoring skills with the ability to achieve results through others.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leaders.

Knowledge of Department of Defense acquisition.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

DoD Secret or Top Secret clearances preferred.

Program Management Professional (PMP) certification desired.
