American Express’ Global Advertising & Brand Management (GABM) team is responsible for creating marketplace demand and driving commerce for American Express through differentiated and innovative branding, marketing and experiences. We have an ambitious goal: to be the most creative department in the Fortune 500 and we aim to deliver on that by doing work that is both creative and effective. The Global Brand Content & Platforms (GBCP) team within GABM is responsible for defining the brand in the broader marketplace both strategically and visually. This team grows the value of our global brand through strategic planning, creative content development, and partnership with businesses and markets across the enterprise. GBCP’s scope also spans brand design, talent and the Shop Small program.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and all-around team player to join the GBCP team as Analyst, Global Advertising. The Analyst will have a unique and exciting opportunity to join a team of seasoned marketers leading advertising and social media content for a Top 50 brand.
Candidates must have a proven track record of strong project management skills and demonstrate a great work ethic and excellent attitude.
The Analyst, Global Advertising will be responsible for:
Day-to-day management and oversight of Global Advertising Team production budget
Managing the American Express You Tube channel submission requests with agency
Facilitating Compliance, Legal and Brand reviews for U.S. content produced by the Global Advertising Team
Monitoring competitor advertising and social media activity and sharing weekly recaps for team
Supporting Director, Global Advertising on year-round Shop Small marketing campaigns
Organizing and setting agendas for quarterly partner meetings and weekly team calls
Bachelor’s degree required
2 years advertising agency experience strongly preferred
Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at once
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Collaborative mindset, curiosity, and resiliency, with a sense of humor and passion to deliver best in class marketing in fast paced work environment
Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint
Location: New York, NY
