The Business Support Manager role will be part of the Strategic Performance team, focusing specifically on Strategic Planning & Analysis. This role will be responsible for thinking critically and performing underlying analysis to inform development and direction of MLWM business planning and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to help inform decision-making

  • Conduct internal/external data analysis and prepare strategic and tactical recommendations

  • Create executive level presentations by synthesizing qualitative and quantitative analysis

  • Lead and manage multiple projects

  • Assist with implementation of business solutions and strategies

  • Communicate with all levels of the organization

  • Identify opportunities to further enhance business processes, reporting, etc. and lead change management

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of strong business analysis experience with proven ability to manage and implement new initiatives

  • 2 + years of project management experience in a financial / wealth management organization

  • Prior experience driving and managing multiple projects and adjusting to changing deadlines

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Expert level MS Power Point presentation skills with ability to create executive-level presentations

  • Intermediate to expert level MS Excel skills

  • Self-starter, high energy and detail oriented; ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Experience in wealth management business

  • Attention to detail is absolutely critical

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Desired Skills:

  • Critical/strategic thinking, solve problems and make decisions independently

  • Detail oriented, ability to interpret information and compose it into executive ready value-added information

  • Excellent communication, influencing and facilitation skills, including effective presentations skills for senior management

  • Organized and have the ability to manage competing priorities

  • Strong relationship building, ability to bring multiple stakeholders together, assess issues to reach consensus & decisions, demonstrates personal courage

  • Strong understanding of Wealth Management business and emerging trends is preferred

  • In-depth knowledge of financial advisor model and sales practices is preferred
