The Tech Talent Excellence team is undergoing a transformation! With renewed focus on creating a sustainable pipeline to supply American Express Technology with the best and most diverse talent, we are creating new pathways to tech jobs through our Early Careers Program. We need a highly motivated, organized, and creative Program Manager to help us build out several new pathways to tech jobs through various work experience models, such as internships, apprenticeships, pre-internships, and career change opportunities.

Under the strategic direction of the Director, Early Careers Program, you will be responsible for designing, directing and coordinating multiple, ongoing work experience programs from design through implementation. In addition to managing relationships with key external strategic partners, you will lead project managers to execute individual workstreams and work closely with stakeholders to determine requirements for entry-level talent across various job functions. You will manage program costs and resources, while providing regular program status updates and communicating with stakeholders across the enterprise on program strategy, ensuring that scope and approach are fully understood by all stakeholders. You will coordinate across several programs to ensure proper staging of program activities in line with resource availability.

Prior experience designing and implementing large-scale or complicated programs involving multiple stakeholders and external partners is a required. Ideally you have implemented work experience programs, though other programmatic experience that is translatable will be considered as well.

Qualifications

Prior experience implementing programs (as described above).
