The Distribution Solutions Marketing team is the leader in the creation and evolution of distribution services to meet our customers ever changing needs.

**Ideal candidate would reside in any East or Central Region State

J ob Summary:

The Solutions Delivery Manager, Distribution Services manages the design and development of new solutions and capability enhancements of existing offerings. Working with the Sales team, Marketing partners, and Operations to drive process standardization and cost management of their portfolio.

This role will report to the Sr. Product Manager and will work closely with a cross functional team to include including operations, marketing, sales, contracting, strategic pricing, customer service, finance, legal, inventory, and others.


  • Develops and enhances solutions grounded in enhancing the customers experience with Cardinal Health Distribution
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of operational processes and the impact on cost of those processes
  • Work with marketing team to understand customer needs and how to effectively operationalize portfolio of service offerings
  • Collaborate with operational leaders & business partners to define, document and monitor best in class process standardization across the Medical Segment Distribution Center network
  • Collaborate with both operations and field-based customer support teams to adjust service processes as needed
  • Understand the cost and customer service impact to any/all process changes
  • Measure utilization of services within portfolio and make recommendations to marketing
  • Support the marketing in the go to market strategy with viability of new service offerings
  • Maintain cost to serve modeling for all services within portfolio
  • Take informed risk and be biased toward action
  • Serve as an effective and inspirational leader to the services marketing team and cross-functional supporting teams
  • Demonstrate strong financial acumen and logical decision making in the general business environment. Understand and demonstrate sound thought processes as it relates to business cases, investment requests, forecasting, pricing, deal structures, and assessing strategic options


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years professional experience preferred
  • Strong ability to influence and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Process driven, ability to map and visualize processes
  • Analytical & Word Processing: Must demonstrate command of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)
  • Presentation: must demonstrate clear, concise articulation of proposed actions, illustrating opportunity, alternatives, recommendation and associated economics
  • Ability to travel up to 15% - 25%
  • A Covid-19 vaccination is required in order to be employed in this position. This includes either: 2 doses of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine OR 1 dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine
