Merck Associate Director, US Oncology Marketing Lung Strategy and Execution (REMOTE) in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Job Description

Position Description:

We are currently recruiting for an Associate Director, U.S. Oncology Marketing – Lung Cancers. This position will focus on currently approved Non-Small-Cell Lung Cancer indications and will prepare for additional indications within lung cancer. The position will report to the Director of US Oncology Marketing – Lung.

This position will require outstanding, proactive leadership in many different areas including strategic & launch planning, performance analytics, digital strategy and cross-functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:

  • Develop strategic choices to optimize in-line metastatic franchise

  • Develop launch strategy for specific lung portfolio opportunities

  • Help lead development of lung portfolio strategy and required capabilities & investments

  • Lead competitive strategy and planning for specific external launches

  • Marketing point for Commercial Excellent Framework and market research

Position Qualifications :

Education Minimum Requirements:

  • Required: Bachelor's degree

  • Preferred: Master's degree

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of (5) years Pharmaceutical business experience

  • Core marketing experience including strategy development and competitive planning

  • Strong relationship building, problem solving, teamwork, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills

  • Experience influencing without direct authority and working successfully with cross-functional teams

  • Healthcare Provider promotion experience bringing materials through legal, regulatory, and clinical review

  • Oncology marketing or related experience

  • 20% travel including some weekends

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Lung or thoracic marketing experience

  • Prior launch experience

Position Location: Upper Gwynedd, PA or Virtual/Remote in the United States
