JOB SUMMARY: The Financial Analyst analyzes financial data, compiles reports, provides recommendations based on data analysis, and assists leaders in the preparation of all business plans.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the preparation of all quarterly and annual business plans and FLASH reporting. Review and analyze data and provide recommendations for improved profitability.
GMA maintenance on a monthly basis. Investigate variances in key cost areas and analyze data for trends. Provide detailed interpretations to leaders for further action.
Preparation and updating of Offsite Budgets on a monthly basis.
Preparation of monthly and quarterly fixed cost supplemental schedules. Provide variance explanations and work with department heads for eliminating negative variances.
Prepare and maintain monthly cash flow schedules. Analyze information for trends and variances to prior period, and provide explanations to leaders for further action.
Prepare weekly operations reports for distribution to Operating Team.
Performs other analysis projects when needed.
- BS in Finance or Accounting required
- 1-3 years experience in Finance or Accounting; Prior experience in homebuilding industry preferred

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Must work 8-hour days (during core business hours) with flexibility for overtime when necessary
Must conduct business in a professional and ethical manner to potential buyers, external business associates and coworkers to reinforce goodwill and profitability for the company.
