Northrop Grumman Principal Financial Analyst in Orlando, Florida
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst to support the Secure Network Operations (SNO) Operating Unit Business Manager in the Airborne C4ISR Systems Division. This position is located in Orlando, FL. Virtual / telecommuting may also be considered at the discretion of the hiring manager.
This position serves as the OU lead for cash and balance sheet activities, with roles and responsibilities including, but not limited to:
Monthly/quarterly forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis to include Income Statement and Balance Sheet activities
Annual Operating Plan (AOP) preparation and coordination
Reserve tracking and analysis
AR/DSR metrics reporting and analysis
AR billed/unbilled reviews and status
Various month-end entries related to NCR, RWA reclass, forward loss/reserve entries, etc.
Support to quarterly EAC reviews/process as well as PPA processing
Other ad hoc duties as assigned
This position requires close coordination with the Communication BU Financial Reporting, Operating Unit staff, and Program Control Analysts. The selected candidate will be able to work independently to develop financial reporting schedules for the OU and track financial reporting actions to closure.

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field with 6 years of related experience, or Master's Degree as described with 4 years of related professional experience (Additional years of direct experience preparing financial data and performing analysis may be substituted in lieu of degree)
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience with the following reporting tools: SAP/Business Warehouse.
The willingness and ability to travel domestically 10% of the time.
US Citizenship is required.
Experience with COGNOS Analytics tool.
Advanced Excel skills to include pivot tables, complex formulas, and macros
Ability to interface with multiple disciplines and varying levels of management
Strong understanding of government accounting
