Perform Electrical sub-system architecture design, integration and test to support development for Infrared Search and Track (IRST) and support peer reviews and design assurance of Programmable Logic (PL). Responsible for system PL requirements derivation and architecture, FPGA design and development plans, system integration, and test of Circuit Card Assemblies with FPGAs. Perform detailed design oversight and lead a team of FPGA designers in development of IRST integration development efforts in cooperation with a multi-company team. FPGA design and development skills required.

The Greater Orlando metropolitan area is the sixth largest metro area in the southeastern United States. The climate here is warm and sunny all year long for the most part. Orlando is home to the University of Central Florida (UCF), Walt Disney World, and SeaWorld. Where can you get to from Orlando? Orlando is about an hour's drive from Cocoa Beach and the "space coast" to include NASA and the Kennedy Space Center. Tampa is about 1 and ¼ hours from Orlando. West Palm Beach is about 2.5 hours to the south and Jacksonville is about 2 hours to the northeast. Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience with a Bachelors of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• High-density FPGA design experience
• Experience with System On a Chip (SOC) and FPGA architecture, design, and development
• Experience leading 5-15 multi-discipline design team
• Ability to obtain Secret clearance
• Aurora, Camera-Link, PCIe, GigE, and multi-processor systems integration experience
• Experience in lab and system-level integration of FPGA firmware with system software executing in 3U OpenVPX form factor embedded processors.
• Experience with Configuration Management (CM) and Change Control concepts and tools (DOORS, Subversion, Mantis, Jira, etc.)
• Familiarity with embedded processor operating systems (VxWorks, Linux), and Windows
