Oviedo Medical Center is currently seeking a NonCertified Central SterileTechnician to join our Sterile Processing team. This position will be PRN, As Needed.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The purpose of this position is to provide aseptic supplies and equipment to be used in patient care by utilizing the proper processing of instrumentation and supplies, i.e. cleaning, sterilizing, and storage.
EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:
High School Diploma or GED Required
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
None
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:
1-3 years preferred
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
