Direcor Facilities Management/Mountain View Hospital
The Director of Fac Mgmt/Safety/Sec plans, organizes, supervises, coordinates and controls the activities of Plant Operations and maintenance functions which are necessary in maintaining the physical structures, HVAC, mechanical, electrical systems, utilities and grounds of the Hospital in an operative and safe working condition. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in PI activities. Assures competency of all personnel. Assists in formulating the budget. Maintains efficient and effective department operation while requiring compliance with all JCAHO, State, Federal and local regulatory laws, standards and protocols. Manages and oversees hospital safety program in order to maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors and personnel

Qualifications - External
EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:
* * *Bachelor’s degree preferred, minimum of an associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two year college or technical school, or minimum of five years acting as Director of Facilities Mgmt in a (acute and/or skilled) Hospital. American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
- *: *American Society of Hospital Engineers (ASHE) preferred.
7-10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have (5) years of management experience, managing at least 2 people in a (acute and/or skilled) hospital environment
