Pfizer Director, US XTANDI Organized Customer and HCP Marketing in Peapack, New Jersey

The US Prostate Cancer Business is one of the largest and fastest growing businesses within Pfizer. It is anchored by a multibillion-dollar asset in XTANDI.

The XTANDI Organized Customer and HCP Marketing Director is a critical role on the team with a focus on account marketing. Organized providers and advanced customers - i.e., key accounts, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), IDNs) - are a critical stakeholder in advancing standardization of care for advanced prostate cancer patients and there is a large opportunity to drive treatment according to guidelines.

This role will work closely together with the US Prostate Key Account Management (KAM) strategy lead as well as the Alliance key account marketing lead, driving strategic planning and vision for engaging with organized customers through an omnichannel and cross-functionally integrated approach. This role requires strong collaborative capabilities to lead, influence, and partner with and across matrixed teams and internal stakeholders. This position will play a critical role in assessing and analyzing account-specific business trends and opportunities to develop innovative approaches and solutions for key accounts. This role will serve as the point of contact for the KAM and Customer Marketing Teams when it comes to XTANDI strategies and execution.

The role will further own the execution of synergistic HCP promotional activities that focus on driving the appropriate use of the NHT class according to guidelines across our XTANDI HCP customer segments. Furthermore, this role will also own the sample and voucher programs for XTANDI, working with the Sales organization on executing the programs successfully and compliantly.

With a strong lifecycle plan and expanding patient population, XTANDI is a critical asset in the Oncology portfolio, delivering significant and growing revenues after 9 years in the market. As part of the growing Prostate Cancer franchise, this role offers the opportunity to be part of a quickly expanding team, experiencing multiple launches up close.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop XTANDI strategies and tactics focused on organized customers and the institutional archetypes, working closely with the US Prostate KAM Lead, the KAM organization, Commercial Excellence and the Alliance.

  • Lead development and execution of KAM POA meetings (presentations, strategy, resources, workshops).

  • Drive innovative approaches to help accounts improve quality of care and treatment according to guidelines.

  • Lead development of HCP promotional tactics that align with key account strategies like unbranded disease education focused on educating on variations of care and the importance to treat according to guidelines.

  • Sample and Voucher Program Lead. Oversee launch of voucher program and develop metrics plan to track execution.

  • Work with business analytics and commercial excellence colleagues to understand performance trends based on different data sources and identify business opportunities. Develop and monitor key metrics to evaluate initiatives and make relevant adjustments.

  • Develop presentations for management and internal stakeholders on brand priorities, opportunities, and threats. Key contributor to Tactical Plans and Operating Plans.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of experience with 7+ years commercial/marketing experience

  • US pharma experience

  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills with ability to obtain and evaluate data to identify insights and develop effective strategies & tactics based on these insights

  • Ability to navigate internal organization/ processes to achieve endorsement of innovative approaches

  • Demonstrated track record of achievement and of influencing business outcomes across diverse functional boundaries, even without direct reporting relationships

  • Ability to demonstrate a One Pfizer approach and work effectively and collaboratively in a team-based environment with internal/external stakeholders

  • BA/BS - degree required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 3 years of HCP and/or Key Account marketing preferred

  • Oncology experience preferred with understanding of how Oncology account customers are organized

  • Strong familiarity with US marketing landscape including HCP's, medical groups/integrated delivery networks, payers

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred

  • Copromote experience is a plus
