UnitedHealth Group Bilingual (Spanish / English) Senior Customer Service Representative - Telecommute in Phoenix, Arizona

As a Bilingual (Spanish / English) Senior Customer Service Representative you're responsible for providing expertise and customer service support to members, customers, and/or providers. You'll provide direct phone-based customer interaction to answer and resolve a wide variety of inquiries.

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service

  • Constantly meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards

  • Respond to complex customer calls

  • Resolve customer service inquiries which could include:

  • Benefit and Eligibility information

  • Billing and Payment issues

  • Customer material requests

  • Physician assignments

  • Authorization for treatment

  • Explanation of Benefits (EOB)

  • Extensive work experience within own function.

  • Work is frequently completed without established procedures.

  • Works independently.

  • May act as a resource for others.

  • May coordinate other's activities

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)

  • Authorization to work in the United States

  • Work Shift: Monday thru Saturday between the hours of 6:00 am to 9:00 pm (Available to work 40 hours per week anytime within the operating hours of the site, which may include weekends and holidays )

  • The ability to work in a Windows based environment (including Word, Excel, Outlook) is required

  • 1+ years call center and or customer service experience are required

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

  • If you need to entera work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms usingthe ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering yoursymptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener.When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask incommon areas. In addition, employees must comply with any state and localmasking orders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree (or higher)

  • Knowledge of HMO / PPO / Medicare Plans / benefits and medical terminology is preferred
