Purpose of Job

Our 2021 summer internship program will start on May 24, 2021 and last through July 30, 2021. To be eligible, you must be a college student during the time of the internship program.
Job Requirements
Tasks:
Responds to member inquiries and requests
Identifies member events and provides solutions via company products and services to meet their needs
Provides members with guidance by applying foundational knowledge of products and services
Identifies opportunities to deepen relationships in support of member financial security strategies
Researches and resolves general disputes in a timely and efficient manner
Performs routine with tasks under direct supervision and within established procedures and guidelines
Minimum Education:
Pursuing a bachelor's degree
Graduation date cannot be prior to the end of the internship
Minimum Work Experience
0 to 1 year of customer contact experience required
Experience multi-tasking within a Windows operating system environment required
Compensation:
USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the hourly rate based on your experience and market position. The hourly rate for this position is: $16.00.
Interns are eligible to receive an intern stipend to assist with expenses.
Geographical Differential : Geographic pay differential is additional pay provided to eligible employees working in locations where market pay levels are above the national average.
Shift premium will be addressed on an individual-basis for applicable roles that are consistently scheduled for non-core hours.
