Textron Sr. Accountant in Providence, Rhode Island
TheSenior Accountant position will report to the Director of Business ProcessControls. This position will be responsible for preparing various submissionsto the US Government (USG) that are required for the Textron Corporate HomeOffice. This individual will frequently interface with the Defense ContractAudit Agency (DCAA) and the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) tosupport USG audits as well as Textron Business Unit Finance departments.
Preparationof annual Incurred Cost Submission (ICS) for Corporate Home Office
Developmentof Forward Pricing Rate Proposals (FPRP) for Corporate Home Office
MaintainCorporate Home Office Disclosure Statement and department cost allocations
SupportDCAA and DCMA audit requests
Willneed to balance and manage periods of heavy audit activity with numerousrequests from DCAA auditors
Otherduties as assigned
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
Minimum 4 years’ experience
Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
Strong excel skills required for ICS and FPRP models
Familiarity with Oracle ERP a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle more than one task at a time
Excellent computer skills and Microsoft Office expertise required
Individual who is action oriented, excellent people skills and customer focused is highly desirable
