Northrop Grumman Aeronautics sector is seeking an Administrative Assistant 4 at our Redondo,CA location.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Providing support to Security Directors and Managers
Making travel arrangement and preparing and submitting expense reports (using SAP Concur)
Arranging meetings and conferences: reserving conference rooms, managing conflicting calendars, creating/managing
Outlook invites, coordinating and ordering meals and refreshments if necessary
Screening telephone calls, taking messages, providing answers, and transferring if necessary
Reviewing the security database and correlating information via Excel spreadsheets
Gathering, compiling and reporting on information relevant to Security in a timely and accurate manner
Proactively answering questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures
Collecting, organizing, and distributing mail for local team members
Purchasing necessary supplies and maintaining inventory within allotted budget
Reviewing drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical and spelling usage
Performs other normal office functions, including setting up and maintaining physical files
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
6 years of Administrative experience
Candidate must have 2+ years experience with MS Office tools (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
Candidate must have and be able to maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance at the Top Secret level with a background investigation date within 6 years, OR must be able to maintain an active U.S. Government SCI access with a current Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong ability to multi-task with competing priorities while maintaining a positive attitude
Experience working with travel agencies to coordinate itineraries for domestic and international travel
Experience using Concur Software to book travel and submit expense reports
Experience in planning, coordinating and overseeing catering for corporate meetings
