Job Description:

The Streamline underwriter will be responsible for supporting our client teams in the credit analysis and underwriting of consumer and commercial loans for large net worth clients of US Trust Private Wealth Management and Merrill Lynch. Candidate should possess experience in commercial lending and underwriting including financial analysis, loan structuring, financial accounting, modeling, and underwriting and portfolio management. The candidate must be familiar with Commercial Lending and able to assist client teams in loan structuring, pricing and underwriting. The candidate should have proven credit analysis ability with in-depth knowledge of credit products, risk assessment, structuring and pricing.

Qualifications

Required Skills

3 + Years Commercial and/or Wealth Management credit lending experience in

financial analysis, structuring, underwriting and portfolio management

Formal Credit Training and/or Commercial/Wealth Management credit experience preferred

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Organized and detail oriented with ability to multi-task, with prior experience in a high volume production environment.

Finance or business degree required – or comparable degree

Desired Skill

Strong computer skills, including Internet Explorer and MS Office
