Hyatt Engineering Lead/Coordinator in SAN DIEGO, California

Description:

The Engineering Lead/Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating the day to day operation of the engineering department office. This individual will be responsible for daily tasks related to the engineering colleagues, scheduling third party vendors, dispatching calls, and handling organization work to ensure the success of the Engineering Department. This individual will manage Hotsos, ensuring all Hotsos tasks are assigned and completed in a timely manner. The Engineering Lead/Coordinator will track departmental expenses, manage inventory control, handle contract administration and will facilitate and maintain exceptional communication with all departments throughout the hotel, particularly housekeeping, the front office and finance. The Engineering Lead/Coordinator will support the Assistant Director of Engineering and the Director of Engineering in delegating work to the Engineering colleagues, ensuring completion of tasks, and ensuring other areas of the hotel are supported by the Engineering function. This individual will report directly to the Director of Engineering.

Qualifications:

  • Great personal/communication skills required

  • Knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Office, maintenance management systems, etc.

  • Ability to create presentation materials

  • Candidate must possess excellent organizational skills

  • Candidate must have exceptional attention to detail

  • Knowledge of contract administration and insurance details preferred

  • Hotel and resort experience preferred

  • Candidate should be self-motivated
