Get onboard the UTC Aerospace Operations and Supply Chain team and play a part in managing our innovative products from inception to delivery. Operations and Supply Chain employees have the opportunity to network across our businesses and functions, all while improving the productivity, quality and efficiency of our operations worldwide.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed demand evaluations and discuss with internal and external customers to validate demand and identify and develop action plans for major sources of variation.

  • Publish on a monthly basis demand profile by area

  • Coordinate with Planning team the plant confirmation for Load and Go unplanned demand.

  • Perform detailed capacity evaluations and discuss with internal stakeholders to develop action plans to align to customer requirements.

  • Publish on a monthly basis detailed capacity plans for assigned areas.

  • Drive the monthly SIOP process and coordinate meetings and follow up on developed action plans.

  • Develop Ad Hoc reports and data evaluation to drive improvement on Planning, Inventory, Productions Control and other Materials Management function.

  • Execute other materials management tasks as needed by the organization.

Qualification:

  • CPIM/CIRM a plus

  • Minimum 2 years planning and/or materials experience required; manufacturing, electronics or aerospace environment preferred.

  • Knowledge that extends across multiple disciplines

  • Team and / or Project Leadership experience

  • Able to coach and develop others

  • Experience with Lean and ACE / Continuous Improvement

  • Knowledge of material management systems

  • Excellent computer skills, advance knowledge of MS Excel and Power Point applications required.

  • Ability to work well in a team culture

  • SAP materials system experience a plus

  • Excellent communication and customer service

  • Excellent presentation and group facilitation skills

Education: BA/BS degree (Materials Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related preferred)

MA/MS degree (Materials Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related a plus)
