Starbucks Coffee Company Demand Planner, Latin America and Caribbean in Seattle, Washington

Summary of Experience

  • Experience in supply and demand planning – minimum of 3 years

  • Experience using MS Suite Tools PowerPoint, Excel - minimum of 3 years

  • Preferred BA/BS degree, APICS certification and knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and/or other Supply Chain Planning or Continuous Improvement methodologies

  • Experience using at least one forecast management or ERP tool – minimum of 3 years

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to Influence category, marketing, and supply partners to obtain a consensus forecast to best support customer service targets

  • Ability to drives for closure on issues that prevent supply meeting demand

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing to internal customers

  • Communicates changes in demand plans to the supply chain quickly and effectively

  • Ability to use presentation skills to pass information and to gain consensus of forecasts

  • Ability to implement World Class supply chain methods to improve demand plan accuracy

  • Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint - Excel must haves – pivot tables, VLookup H/X a plus, IF statements and basic equation formulation
